Ofcom Complaints Against Major Providers

The UK telecoms regulator Ofcom has just released its latest Ofcom complaints report, showing that EE and Talktalk are the most complained about networks.
Ofcom showed its most recent report on Friday 27th June 2014, which compares complaints received about broadband, mobile, landline and Television from January 2014 to March 2014.Concerning broadband, EE again was as the United Kingdom’s most complained about internet provider, having 0.42 complaining telephone calls per 1,000 customers, most of the time about “service faults, billing and problems with changing provider”.

BT and Talktalk also had more complaints than the industry average, at 0.33 and 0.24 per 1,000 customers, respectively.

BT hasn’t yet responded, but Talktalk tried to take a positive spin on Ofcom Complaints damning report, “The overall number of complaints about our services continues to fall, and we are pleased to see this reflected in Ofcom’s report,” adding, “complaints about broadband are down by two-thirds compared to three years ago”.
